Sokobanja
Sokobanja is a spa town in eastern Serbia between mountain landscapes.
The spa tradition, Moravica River and nearby Ozren and Rtanj shape the area.

More Than a Mineral Spring
Each spa town has its own water, surroundings, facilities and reasons to stay. Medical programmes require an individual assessment.
The water and natural setting
Sokobanja has several thermomineral springs with differing temperatures; the spa association describes waters around 28–45°C used in bathing and inhalation. Air and climate are part of its long spa tradition, alongside the springs.
Health programmes and indications
Specialist institutions offer respiratory and physical rehabilitation programmes; the choice of inhalation, hydrotherapy or exercise depends on individual assessment. The existence of a programme does not mean that a particular visitor should use it.
Hotels and places to stay
Hotels, spa properties, guesthouses and apartments provide different levels of service. Verify whether a particular property offers a staffed wellness area, therapeutic facilities or only lodging, especially when the trip has a health purpose.
Parks, sport and free time
Walk the centre and spa park, then choose a day for Ozren, Ripaljka waterfall or Sokograd. Rtanj is a longer mountain outing, not an easy stroll from the spa. Seasonal pools, walking and family activities allow a trip to work even without a treatment programme.
